Wearside Pneumatics recently completed a major turnkey package which encompassed both the compressed air equipment required by the end user and the design and construction of a portable compressor house in which the equipment will be stored.
The company supplied two Atlas Copco GA22VSD+ air compressors, an Atlas Copco CD70+ dessiccant dryer and two Atlas Copco LV900 units. This equipment was then housed within a bespoke, portable compressor house which was painted and finished to marine specification. A small selection of images from the completed project can be seen in the slideshow below.
The end user of this equipment is a petrochemical firm preparing products for marine delivery. The energy-efficiency, reliability and low lifecycle costs made Atlas Copco equipment the ideal solution, particularly when combined with the expertise of the team at Wearside Pneumatics.
Dean Horn, Sales Director of Wearside Pneumatics, commented: “We’re extremely proud to have been able to deliver a solution that gives our customer an exceptionally durable compressor house, inside which is a compressed air system which will increase efficiency and reduce costs over the life cycle of the equipment. The challenge presented by the need to house the system within a portable compressor house was one our team relished and the end result speaks for itself. We are always ready to go the ‘extra mile’ to ensure our customers have the tools they need to develop their businesses.”
